At the highest level of OpusCare employees must be committed to hospice philosophy and mission and provide outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers.  As a member of the Interdisciplinary Team, the “Field Nurse” works under the direction of the “Director of Clinical Management” and/or in her/his absence the “Nursing Supervisor,” and the patient's/Hospice physician in the provision of skilled nursing care & services, assessment, planning, and care to maximize the comfort and health of patients and families.  Responsible for providing nursing care and services, assessing and identifying patient/family needs, and providing skilled care and supportive services in accordance with the patient's physician's orders and plan of care and OpusCare's policies and procedures. Demonstrate nursing practice skills and the ability to assess and respond to patients' and families' needs in varied settings and the ability to execute a supportive, sensitive approach to patient/family/personal caregiver (PCG) or significant other (S/O) needs. Available to work weekends.
