Dear Dr. Roque-Velasco, This letter is to thank you and the staff at OpusCare for the care they provided to my mother. We are grateful that we had OpusCare staff there for constant 24/7 support. I particularly want to single out Gaby de LaGuardia, Ana Camacho, Yelena, Felicia, Omar, Mario, Dario and the entire team on call throughout my mothers at home hospice experience. The effective guidance and support provided with compassion and sensitivity made my mother’s care possible. You are fortunate to work with such a capable and caring team,and we wish everyone at OpusCare our sincere thank you and all the best for 2021.

In March of 2020 my father became severely ill. I reached out to Opus Care. They were prompt and diligent in handling my case. They attended to my needs as well as my father’s in a highly professional manner. The care my father received from the Opus Care medical staff as well as social workers was excellent. They made the last few days of his life as comfortable as they possibly could. Thank you, Opus Care, for your support during this difficult time!

Our patient’s daughter had very high praises for our company and services and she especially mentioned Nurse Anette Barranco. She was very thankful that she was there when the hospital nurse applied a tourniquet and that it was very tight to the point that the fluid was not flowing through and Nurse Anette fixed it and according to the daughter, saved the day and probably her Mother as well. She insisted that the Team Director was informed of this. She claims that it was a learning experience for her.

I would like to thank OpusCare for the exceptional care of my grandmother. I would personally like to thank our Case Manager for her special and dedicated attention since the process started and for her humane qualities. In addition, I would also like to thank Yalkin Valdes for being like an angel on earth, going above and beyond for grandma. Lastly, Gregory helped guide my family in the final moments.

There was one OpusCare nurse that I would like to recognize. His name is Yalkin Valdez Gonzalez. Mr. Gonzalez was responsible for my grandmother's care during the last shifts of her life. My grandmother was 93 years old and was very frail. The amount of compassion and attention to detail Mr. Valdez Gonzalez especially had for her was beyond exceptional. You will probably receive other correspondence from my family, but I felt it was necessary to advocate and thank your team openly.

Dr. Roque, Thank you for giving me the opportunity to learn and grow within your company. I’m loving every challenge I face and I truly appreciate it! Most importantly, thank you for reminding me of how crucial it is to go back to school and get an education. No so much for the title, but to gain knowledge. Dear Dr. Roque-Velasco, I want to take this opportunity to personally thank your company for providing extraordinary service to my father. My father was a hospice patient for 26 months. During this time all he ever received was loving care and superb medical attention from medical professionals and office staff. I commend OpusCare from the Sales approach to Daily Services to Final moments. Richard at Social Services as well as Priscilla in nursing care were always professional and empathetic, as were Yanivis and Sandra in customer care. Heaven only knows that losing a 100 year old parent is very difficult - what to do, with whom and when as they age, are key decisions. OpusCare Hospice was the right decision. You run a tight ship! My mother received wonderful care from Opuscare. Supplies delivered; personal care taken care of with her specific needs in mind. Weekly visits by a nurse and when end-of-life was imminent and more help was needed, 24-hour hospice nursing care was provided at home. These nurses were very caring and patiently explained what was happening in these last stages to all the family members. We could not have asked for better care. Thank you.

OpusCare was responsible for the care of my grandmother. Usually, after a death of a family member, unless something goes wrong with the care given, providers aren't told anything because the families are now entering the grieving of losing a loved one. In this case, I could not be happier that my grandmother passed away peacefully. Much of that peace is due to the care by OpusCare.

This was my first experience with OpusCare. Let me start by saying I was blown away by the amount of compassion, sympathy, gentleness, and benevolence your nurses have for their patients. They were all very respectful and treated my grandmother as if it was their own family member.

Dear Ish There are no words to express how grateful I am to OpusCare. I hope you’re doing well. I’ve been meaning to write you this note to let you know that someone I know was singing Opus Care’s praises the other day. My lifelong friend lives with and cares for her grandmother and recently had an issue where her grandmother was told she needed to go to the doctor’s office. The woman has severe dementia and has a lot of trouble walking. My friend cried on the phone to the doctor’s office explaining that she could not physically manage to get her mother out of the house and the person she spoke to recommended Opus. She had never heard of it and next thing she knew, within a day or two had a full setup at home with all the help she needed, medical bed, the works. She said they were a godsend and is so grateful to have the help. You’re doing such honorable work, doc. Thank you on behalf of my friend.

Dear Dr. Ismael Roque-Velasco, Sadly, on March 20th of this year, my father, Rolando Alvarez, lost his battle with cancer and Alzheimer’s. We are devastated by the loss but have found some comfort in the outstanding service our family received from OpusCare of Florida. I was referred to you company by my friend Ms. Hortencia Castellano. I shared my concerns about my father’s special health needs and she advised me to look into OpusCare. I am so happy that she made the recommendation as it has made all the difference in the world. I wanted to give you "Thanks" for all the support and professional service provided to my mom while she was to care of you. Also thanks to the staff that day to day worked with my mom, with careful dedication.
